Early Slaughter paintingsMarian Schreiber
I would like to have info. on his earliest paintings.
A close friend Linda Bills
I knew Bill when he was in the process of making that big decision to move from the church to painting. I worked for him at the church. He was a wonderful man. He gave me one of his paintings. Texas Spring is the name of painting.

William SlaughterMark Thompson
In 1975 I was William Slaughter's mailman in Richardson, Texas where I saw him paint bluebonnet pictures and pictures of elephants. I was in awe by these paintings. And still today I wish I could own one.
More about the artistKelly Chastain
I'd like to know more about the artist than what I've been able to find by googling him on the internet.
For example, did he live in California at any time? Did he travel to California and paint there? Where did he paint the seascapes? How many seascapes did he paint? In what years did he live in each location? Did he ever take a painting class or was he 100[%] self taught? Did he go to college? etc.....
I prefer and welcome email responses.
relative to william slaughterBriana Neuman
My name is Briana Neuman (Goodman maiden) according to my grandmother Elinor Rogers (Powell maiden) william a. slaughter was a cousin to her. she was a daughter of Roy and Anna Powell (Anthony maiden) and had 2 brothers and a sister names are Wayne,Warren and Florence. She passed away nov 20 2004. She spoke frequently about william slaughter and his paintings. I am in possesion of 2 of william slaughter's paintings one is a girl in a field of bluebonnets with a house in the background and the other one is a painting of the ocean and signed by william and dated 1975.
The painting of the ocean as I see it is a rarety of his work seeing as I only see paintings of texas scenes listed on the internet.
