The watercolors you have cannot be by this William Henry Hunt (1790-1864). There is no evidence that he ever left England Although he painted landscape watercolors very early on in his career, by 1850 he was painting nothing but still life watercolors with an occasional figure painting. He also stopped dating his work after 1839 and did not resume dating anything until 1860, and then only rarely. Unfortunately, there are many artists named W. Hunt which results in a lot of misattributions of paintings. THe coincidence of the dates of your watercolors with the last years of William Henry Hunt's life is rather amazing, but they just cannot be by the English artist.
