Aden F. Arnold, 1901 - 1973.
The artist was born in 1901 at Jefferson, Iowa. He received both a bachelor and masters degrees in art from the University of Iowa. Arnold taught Graphic and Plastic arts at the University of Iowa while exhibiting his own works at institutions nationwide, including the Corcoran Gallery and the National Academy of Design. He studied under artist Grant Wood, who heavily influenced his style and career. Arnold was appreciated most (showing 500 of 1246 characters). |
