A teacher of art, painter, and art historian, Agnes Addison was born in Philadelphia, earned a B.A. degree from Wellesley in Massachusetts, and an M.A. of Arts at the University of Pennsylvania. With Carnegie Fellowships*, she studied both at Harvard and at the Sorbonne in Paris.
From 1931 to 1932, she taught at the College of Industrial Arts (now Texas Women's University) in Denton, Texas; from 1934 to 1941, she was a teacher at the University of Pennsylvania; and from 1941 to 1942 (showing 500 of 5035 characters). |
