| | Born in Los Angeles, CA on Dec. 9, 1880 of German parents. Aockerblum was a gifted pupil-teacher at the Los Angeles School of Art and Design at USC. Reproductions of his paintings appeared in International Studio magazine in September 1911. Following a short illness, he died of a brain tumor in Los Angeles on Sept. 7, 1911. | Source:
