Anthony M. Alonso is an equine portrait painter of thoroughbred horses and racing personalities. Alonso says, " I never impose my artistic ego on a subject matter. If a scene calls for a whisper, I whisper in my paintings. If a scene calls for excitement, I shout it through my work."
Anthony Alonso was born in New York City on Oct. 6, 1931. He studied his art at the High School of Music and Art in New York and Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. He currently lives and works in Stuart, Florid (showing 500 of 1502 characters). |
