| | Born in Wisconsin on May 4, 1894. Ahlroth moved to Los Angeles with his parents in 1904. After military service during WWI, he worked there as an artist. In 1927 his painting of “Sol y Sombra” appeared in the local magazine, Artland. He later worked for many years for Lockheed Aircraft. He died in San Diego, CA on July 23, 1964.
