The following is from Judy Archibald, widow of the artist. She has been a feature writer for magazines including Wildlife Art, Southwest Art, Sculpture Forum, Art-Talk, and Equine Images.
Stone sculptor Brian Archibald lived and worked in Estes Park, Colorado at the edge of Rocky Mountain National Park so as to be near the inspiration for his wildlife pieces. He also traveled extensively to observe wildlife, including 1500 miles of Kenya.
A native of Minnesota, Brian moved to Color (showing 500 of 5258 characters). |
