 Cecilia Garcia Amaro is one of Mexico’s leading contemporary artists. Armaro was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, in 1953. In the 1960's, she, with her family, settled in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, where she studied interior design at the Superior Institute of Art and Culture.
Her exhibitions have take place at University Museum of Contemporary Art, Museum Amparo, The Art Center in Norfolk, Virginia, the Mexican Embassy in Los Angeles, California as well as the Mexican Embassy located in San Diego, California.
