| | Born in Canada in 1882. Albin immigrated to the U.S. in 1892. After studying in Cincinnati with Frank Duveneck, he established a studio in NYC. Actress Lillian Gish lured him to California in the 1920s. He was a still photographer for the movie studios until exposure to Kleig lights forced to give up camera work. He then retired to Culver City where he painted floral still lifes.
