This biography from the Archives of AskART:
Charles Theadore Allenbrook was born in London, England.  Studied in Europe. Commissioned works at Glasgow Empire Exhibition in 1938.  New York World’s Fair 1939-1940. 

Has had many exhibitions and awards.  U.S.O. Portrait Artist for Africa-Middle East in World War II.  Civilian Service Emblem Award 1945.  President New Rochelle Art Association 1946-1950.  Elected Fellow of the International Institute of Arts and letters 1960.  Also member Cape  Ann Society of Modern Artists, and Fort Lauderdale Art Center.  Listed in Marquis and “Artist Whos’ Who,” and “International Directory of Arts.”
