A painter and architect, Clarence Nelson Aldrich was born in Milford,
Maine on February 21, 1893. He studied with Hans Hoffman.
An architect by trade, Aldrich eventually settled in the Los Angeles
area, maintaining a home in Los Angeles and Long Beach. He
specialized in the design and construction of Mausoleums.
Aldrich exhibited at the Long Beach Art Association, the Spectrum Club,
the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the Painter’s & Sculptors
