| David Ashwell moved to California from England in the 1980s. After three decades of directing television commercials Ashwell decided to turn his talents to capturing the images of Malibu, his adopted hometown.
Ashwell enjoys the everyday scenes of Malibu- life guard stands, traffic jams, and piers. Using his well trained eye Ashwell finds the best angle and light which will make the image memorable.
