David Livingston Adam (1883-1924) was born in Scotland and studied at the Glasgow School of Art, with Jean Delville and M. Greiffenhagen and, after his move to the United States, at the Art Institute of Chicago. He was active in Chicago's Palette and Chisel Club and visited the Saugatuck, Michigan area in his travels.
He is known to have exhibited work from that area specifically in 1924 at the Art Institute of Chicago. One of those exhibited paintings, The Ferry (showing 500 of 861 characters). |
