A textile designer, painter and teacher, Edna Acker was a long-time resident of Philadelphia. She had design clients that included Moss Rose Manufacturing Company and Brooks Brothers men's clothing. She was President and Director of Leonhardt Textile Studios and also was a professor at the Moore College of Art* in Philadelphia.
