.EDWARD EVERARD ARNOLD (1816/28-1866)

Born in Württemberg, Germany, Edward Everard Arnold began his career as a lithographer and a landscape and portrait painter. He settled in New Orleans around 1846, where he became known for his marine paintings and ship portraits.

He remained in New Orleans for the rest of his life, collaborating with the British-born painter, James Guy Evans, on several marine paintings around 1850 to 1951.
