| Painter, commercial artist. Born in Reno, NV on April 18, 1875. Arnold moved to California with his parents in 1877 and settled in Berkeley. He studied art at the Mark Hopkins Art Institute. By 1913 he had settled in San Diego where he worked for Jacobsen Sign Company for many years.
He died in San Diego on Jan. 14, 1943.
