A marine painter and teacher, Elsa Anshutz was Director of the School
of Creative Arts in East Gloucester, Massachusetts. In the late
1950s, she moved to St. Petersburg, Florida. She was a student of
the Cleveland School of Art and the School of the Boston Museum of Fine
Arts.
Exhibition venues included the National Academy of Design; Gloucester
Society of Artists ; Carnegie Institute; St. Petersburg Art Club; St.
Augustine Art Club; Florida Federal Art; Boston Conse (showing 500 of 775 characters). |
