Known for his still life works inspired by the Dutch Masters and the chiaroscuro effects of Italian painters, native New York artist Frank Arcuri was born in Brooklyn and studied at the School of Visual Arts and the Art Students League in the city.
He first pursued his love of the arts as Creative Director for several Manhattan advertising agencies. However, it was not until the early 1980s, after touring the great museums of Italy, that Arcuri began his fine art career in earnest. Drawn (showing 500 of 1260 characters). |
