This biography from the Archives of AskART:
| | A native of St. Paul, Minnesota, he is basically self-taught as a wildlife artist. He and his wife and two daughters live in northern Wisconsin where he revels in the idea that there is more wildlife and landscape within a short distance of his home than he can paint in a lifetime. He works from photographs of landscapes in which he places birds and animals. His painting was featured on the 1997 Wisconsin Pheasant Stamp. He is also active in conservation. |
