| Hale Bower Anthony was an art supervisor of the Gloucester Public Schools, received her art training as an undergraduate and graduate student at the Massachusetts School of Art. Subsequently studied water color painting with Charles Martin of Columbia University, NY, and Oliver Smith at Rockport. Master’s Degree in education was received from Tufts College.
