| Howard Arnold was a consulting art director for manufacturers and advertising agencies including being in charge of illustrations for the Navy and Jordanoff Aviation Corporation during World War II. From 1959, he was Head of the Advertising Department and Assistant Director of the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
