| | Born in Copley, OH on Dec. 9, 1864. The More family made the trek to California in 1873 and settled in Santa Barbara. Belle, as she was known, was educated at Mills College in Oakland and later became the wife of artist Charles Percy Austin. Her specialties were landscapes and still lifes in watercolor and oil. Mrs. Austin died in Santa Barbara on July 9, 1941. | Source:
