Amoroso's diverse and prolific career as an artist began when he  was the youngest student ever to be accepted in a Massachusetts  accredited art school (he was fifteen years old).  At age twenty- seven he  was nominated as "Outstanding New Talent in the U.S.A." by Art in  America magazine.  In 1964 Amoroso's work was designated "Best  Overall" at the New York World's Fair.  In 1977 he received a  special invitation to The I.B.C. Royal Conference, (showing 500 of 2642 characters).
