| | Born in Bearlake, MI in 1875. Known as "Vet" to his friends, Anderson was a resident of San Francisco during the 1930s. In 1937 he created sculptures in Golden Gate Park at the Horseshoe Courts. In the East he was best known for his political cartoons in the Detroit Free Press and the New York Herald Tribune. He died in New York in 1966.
