| Jim Alpin has painted portraits for the past two decades. He is a Master of Fine Arts graduate of the University of Georgia and he was a student at the Art Students League of New York on an Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation grant.
Alpin has taught at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and the Parsons School of Design.
