|  The following is from Wayne Kielsmeier of Tucson, Arizona:
-Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1897, Allworthy studied art at the
Art Institute of Chicago and later in Paris at the Academie Julian.
-His travels took him to various parts of the Country where he captured
some of the day to day images of this land. He taught at the American Academy of Art and spent most of his career in Chicago.
-He was a Member of the Chicago Art Club and All Francaise de Chicago.
- He exhibited at the National Academy, Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago Century of Progress, Municipal Art
League, Texas Centennial Exposition and many others.
