| Katherine Delaney Abrams, born in 1869 in Wisconsin, USA. Died in Seattle in 1919 at the age of 49.
Arrived in Sitka, Alaska in 1887 at the age of 17, when her father, Arthur K Delaney was appointed Collector of Customs for the District of Alaska. Abrams might have taken lesson from Richardson while she worked with Edward Chamberlain (watercolor artist and painter in Sitka, Alaska
Reported to have studied at the Chicago Art institute, but when this might have been is unclear. The peak of Abrams career was probaby winning a gold medal at the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition in Seattle in 1909.
