Katherine G. Abbot Cox (1867 – )
Born in Zanesville, Ohio, Katherine G. Abbot was the daughter of Samuel and Maria Abbot. She was a pupil of H. Siddons Mowbray and William Merritt Chase of New York; Leon Merson, Jean Geffroy and Delance of Paris. She also studied at the Art Students League in New York. She became known as a portrait painter, exhibiting in the Paris Exposition of 1900. She married Allen Howard Cox in 1904 and b (showing 500 of 913 characters). |
