| | Born in Reno, NV on Feb. 11, 1906. Allan studied art in San Francisco at Rudolph Schaeffer School, Academy of Advertising Art, and privately with Maria von Ridelstein. While a resident of Berkeley during the 1930s and 1940s, she worked as illustrator for the Oakland Tribune and in her leisure painted portraits and still lifes. She died in San Francisco on Feb. 16, 1997. Member: SWA.
