The following is from Channing Avery:
Keith W. Avery was born in Lansing, Michigan, December 3, 1921. His love of horses was transferred to his easel during his early youth. Avery's work was selected for a Scholastic art exhibition while he was a high school student. He earned a scholarship to the Chicago Professional School of Art. He worked as a horse trainer and cowhand on Florida and Western ranches and through years of participating in rodeos and horse shows he brings to his work an (showing 500 of 1525 characters). |
