Lennox Allen studied in Cleveland from 1936 to 1940; Louisville Art Center 1941 to 1943. Was with Jerry Farnsworth on Cape Cod in 1948, and with Stanley Woodward’s summer classes from 1949 to 1954. He also studied with Harry Ballinger from 1955 to 1958 and painted with Emile Gruppe in 1962.
Member: Rockport Art Association, North Shore Arts Association, and Salmagundi Club. Won first prize in watercolor in 1950 at the Louisville Arts Club, and again in 1951 and 1961.&nbs (showing 500 of 851 characters). |
