| | Born in Sundevall, Sweden on Oct. 31, 1888. By 1918 Aker (né Akerbladh) was living in NYC. During the 1930s he had a commercial art studio in San Francisco and a home nearby in Atherton. Due to the Depression, he changed careers and became an mechanical engineer.
