| | Born in California on Nov. 23, 1865. Lina's father, Bernard Auger, emigrated from France to northern California in the 1850s and was closely associated with the development of the Buena Vista Vineyard in Sonoma County. Lina was active as an artist in San Francisco until 1919 and later moved across the Golden Gate to the small town of Marshall. A spinster, she died there on Dec. 15, 1954. Her works include china painting, portraits in watercolor, and stereographs. Member: Calif. Camera Club.
