The following information was submitted by the artist, August 2005:
Marcos Miguel Abreu was born in the city of Havana, Cuba in 1960. He started learning about painting techniques and how to use art tools from watching his father create his paintings and sculptures in his studio. He learned how to use ordinary items one could find laying around the house or at local retail stores to create special effects in art. The artist started creating his own style of art in 2003 at the age of 43, a (showing 500 of 762 characters). |
