| Born in California, Margery Hume Ammon was raised in a family of artists. Her mother was a teacher and actress, and her father was director of a large community theater where he directed plays as well as designed sets and costumes. Some of her earliest memories are of leafing through her mother’s collection of large and heavy art books. Ammon spent much of her youth studying classical ballet, acting in children’s theater and helping with every aspect of the community theater (showing 500 of 2891 characters). |
