A multi-talented artist, Mariano Andreu was a painter, stage designer,
drawing and enamelling master from Spain who went to Paris where he
began his career as a magazine illustrator. He also learned other
techniques such as lithography, enamelling on jewelry, and stage
designing including for Shakespearian works at Stratford on Avon in
England.
Among his exhibitions were one in 1911 in the Gallery del Fayans
Catalá, the Salon of ARts and Artists of Barcelona in 1916, and 1934 in
Condal City in Parés Hall.
