Biography from Butler Institute of American Art:
| Born in Brunswick, Georgia in 1935, Martha Armstrong was a painter and photographer who studied at Converse College under August Cook, and at the Heatherly School of Fine art in London.
Her work can be found in Carl G. Jung Educational Center, United Energy Resources and the Smithsonian.
Illustration commissions include covers for "Performing Arts Magazine", Carl J. Jung Educational Center and the inaugural brochure for the Texas Instrutments Art Exhibit.
She has exhbited at Houston Museum of Fine Arts, Glassell School and Visual Arts Alliance. |
