The following was submitted by David Bancroft Avrick: Nicolas was born in Bulgaria. With his brother and fellow artist Ivan, he left Bulgaria and had success in Western Europe and in Argentina and Brazil, where they spent a great many years.
He launched his career in the 20s... he was close to a circle of young artists, poets and journalists. He enrolled in the National Academy of Arts in Sofia and many works by both brothers are owned by the Museum, wher (showing 500 of 2210 characters). |
