Niels Yde Andersen (Danish-American, 1888-1952) artist, printmaker, etcher, draftsman, painter, graphic designer, engineer, teacher and metallurgical furnace designer.
Andersen was primarily known for his industrial etchings* of factories amd workers, steel industry scenes, harbor scenes, working class people, and landscapes, but was also known for his early scenes of boyhood youth in Denmark, impressions of domestic life, his experiences in Russia and various religious works.  (showing 500 of 15498 characters). |
