| Nils Ahlben (1862-1932) He was born in Sweden in 1862 and immigrated to New York City in 1888. (The 1910 census record confirms this data). He lived in New York City. In 1928 and 1929, his studio was at 1356 University Ave and he exhibited art in both years at the Waldorf Astoria in NYC as part of the The Society of Independent Artists Exhibition. He died in 1932. He painted still lives and scenic landscapes with oil on canvas.
