Olga Ackerman was born in San Francisco, CA on April 5, 1865. She
studied art locally at the School of Design under Virgil
Williams. After her marriage she had a studio in her home at 3222
Jackson Street where she painted portraits and did plaster bas reliefs
of friends and family members.
A lifelong resident of her native city, she died on Nov. 5, 1913.
