The following is from Mark Allred, son of the artist:
Osral B. Allred was born in Spring City, Utah in 1936. He attended Snow College, Brigham Young University, and graduated from Utah State University in 1963 with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts. Later, in 1968, he graduated with a Master's of Fine Arts from Utah State University. He married Linda Aiken in 1962. They have six children and seventeen grandchildren.He currently lives in Spring City, Utah.
