An authority on Intaglio and Woodcutting, Paul Arnold was an intructor of art at Oberlin College for forty-four years, from 1941 to 1985 and also was Chair of that Department part of that time. He was also an illustrator for chemistry, print-making and general humanities publications.
He took his art training at Oberlin College, earning an MA in 1941, and then attended the Cleveland Institute of Art and the University of Minnesota, where he received an MFA in 1955.
