Paul Sinclair Andrew (born 1908-died 2000) is a Canadian born painter of a second wave of young artists who studied in Montreal under the group of seven painters during the 1920's. Paul S. Andrew studied first with academician Adam Sherrif Scott and later Group of Seven painters Edwin Holgate and Arthur Lismer. The art community of Montreal during the 1920's and 1930's is a historically important time in Canadian (showing 500 of 984 characters). |
