| Born on March 12, 1888, Prudence Abbott studied at the Art Institute of
Chicago. During 1924-32 she lived in Portland, Oregon and then settled
in San Francisco.
An interior decorator and divorcée, she created decorative screens and lampshades, and painted still lifes.
She died at Alameda (CA) Hospital on April 15, 1957.
