Richard Andrew — painter, teacher, and lecturer — was born on January 9, 1869 in Belfast, Ireland and died in 1956, in Gloucester, Mass. Andrew specialized in murals, landscapes, and portraits and was a department head at the Massachusetts School of Art in Boston.
