Born in Detroit, Michigan on October 9, 1861. Selina was the wife of Charles Beach Allan. She studied at the Art Institute of Chicago under Birger Sandzen and in Paris with Souter. By 1916 she was dividing her time between Kansas City, MO and Long Beach, CA. She died in the latter on October 19, 1945. Her work includes atmospheric landscapes.
