| | Born in New York City, he studied at Holy Cross College and then recieved an MFA from the University of Iowa. From 1968 to 1971, he was an art instructor at the School of Visual Arts in New York, from 1971 to 1978, and at the California Art Institute. He has also taught briefly at other institutions and is known for his video and conceptual art. He has been a resident of Brooklyn, New York. |
