From a young age, Whitney Brooks Abbott wanted to become an artist, "My entertainment was to carry around a sketchbook and to draw the life around me." Influenced by her mother, artist, Meredith Brooks Abbott and three aunts all working as artists, she was surrounded by art.
Whitney attended the University of California at Santa Cruz and majored in art. After graduation, she taught art for about 10 years before quitting to pursue a career in fine art full time. About a decade ago she bega (showing 500 of 1185 characters). |
